Underwrite and manage commercial real estate investments; distressed commercial real estate/NPL experience, particularly in hospitality, a plus
Market research, comparative/industry analysis
Assist in identification and screening of investment targets
Lead deal due diligence efforts on prospective investments and manage outside service providers
Prepare presentation materials to investment committee, fund investors, lenders and portfolio company Boards of Directors
Creation and review of regular cash flows, budgets, business and operating plans for fund investments
Work with operating partners / management teams to develop and execute major strategic or financial initiatives
Monitor and report on the fund’s investments
Maintain relationships with brokers, operating partners, management teams, investors, investment bankers, lenders, consultants, etc.
Financial and valuation modeling
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years’ experience within commercial real estate asset management, private equity, investment banking or corporate finance.
Outstanding academic results and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics from a leading academic institution. CFA or CFA candidate would be an advantage.
Highly numerate with developed quantitative capabilities; demonstrable financial modeling and evaluation skills are critical. In particular, a good understanding of asset level underwriting and restructuring distressed investments is important

Experience with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, CoStar, REIS, and other financial information sources
